High School Choral Festivals
High school choral festivals can be found all around our great state and serve to further the enrichment of our students' choral experience. See the list below and reach out to the listed contact person for more information!
MSU Choral Coloquium
Oct. 11, Montana State University - Bozeman
Registration: Opus Event
A day for Montana All-State Singers and Aspiring High School Choral Musicians!
Jeff Redding, 2019 GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year and Director of Choral Activities at Central Florida, will be our guest presenter. Jeff will lead rehearsals using the 2024 MT All-State repertoire. For students, this is a choral immersion day, designed both to help singers to prepare for All-State. It will also provide an opportunity for students considering pursuing choral performance after high school to learn more about college music life. Students do not have to be All-State members to participate!
For teachers, Jeff will talk about rehearsal techniques, his career as a teacher and baritone soloist, and ways students can prepare for a life in music.
